MTV Music Summit for AIDS featuring MANDY MOORE
Well, few weeks before this event, Andrew and I searching for some new gigs and something that was bring some us fun. And this is it... worth it dahil masaya!!!
Pumunta kami ng ABS-CBN Studio 1 Plaza, sinamahan ko si Andrew sa audition ng StarQuest (joke) ang totoo...sasamahan ko si Andrew for Scriptwriting Workshop ni Ricky Lee. And then super haba ng pila kaya ako walang ibang magawa kundi kalikutin ang cell ko and then nagdownload ako ng mandy moore polytones and then mag promo messages sila about this MTV Music Summit kaya Andrew and I text the promo keywords and voila we claim the free tickets.
Nov 21, 2003 (Friday) - 6pm pa ang uwian ni Andrew and ako din pero hindi pumasok ang masipag naming prof sa Political Economy na isang beses lang nagpakita sa loob ng dalawang buwan (ang kapal grabeh...sipag noh). Kaya napaaga ako ng uwi ng 5pm, well, nagbihis ako sa 5th floor C.R. ng SM Mla habang hinihintay ko si Andrew. And then sa wakas dumating na din siya. Pero hindi pa rin kami agad nakaalis dahil hinintay pa namin si Donna, Muriel and Shiela.
Well, parang natetense si Andrew, dahil siyempre kay Shiela, kababalik nya pa lang ang this is the 1st time nyang nakita si Shiela after 6 months (well ganito yan, kaya na-tense si Drew dahil ex-gf niya si Shiela and siguro mahal nya pa rin...uyyyy). Nasalubong namin si Ranna alone sa SM and we try to invite her sa Summit, nung una gusto nyang sumama. Afterwards, nagtxt daw ang utol nya and hindi na siya makakasama (sayang crush ko pa naman siya). Then we went na sa The Fort kung saan gaganapin ang AIDS Summit. Whoaaaa.... ang haba ng pila, grabeh, super haba ng pila. Dumating kami ng 8:15 pm sa The Fort and pumila agad kami ni Drew habang ang tatlong maria bumili ng makakain dahil nagugutom na daw sila and thank God dahil habang nakapila kami eh binilhan din nila kami. Malapit na kami sa gate ng magsimula nang kumanta si Mandy Moore. This time nauna siyang magperform dahil ng manood kami ng The Event, huli na ng magperform sila Ken,Vanness and ASOS. OK, back to the concert, umatend din ng naturang concert si PGMA, taray ng presidente dahil "In na In" pa rin siya and this time nagbigay siya ng message para sa MTV Aids Summit... Well 1:30 na natapos ang summit and super dami ng nagperform and super dami ng guest stars na nagbibigay ng mensahe tungkol sa AIDS pero ang lagi ko lang naririnig is BE AWARE, Spread the message and not the virus... sa tingin ko they promote SAFE SEX. in short gumamit kayo ng condom or other contraceptives.
