The Road Not Taken

I've been to an interview, actually 4-times na akong sumabak sa interview for Web/Graphic Designer position. Well, ang medyo napapansin ko lang na kadalasan na itanong sa akin, kung bakit Political Science then Web Designer. Actually wala talagang relation between PolSci and Web Designer, and I think hindi naman lahat natutunan sa eskwelahan and by yourself pwede kang matuto nang kahit ano basta gugustuhin mo. Masyado lang kasing ini-istandard ang relation nang job and education, and I think nasa tao yun wala sa kung ano pa man. Most people think that diploma is passport to success but not for me, attitude ang kailangan and utak and I think kung fit ka sa position, why not di ba...Andami nga graduates pero hindi lahat nakakakuha nang trabaho na para sa kanila talaga as in kung ano yung natapos nila...Si Bill Gates nga college drop-out, nasan na siya ngayon, think of that, it's diskarte and attitude. Kung masasagot ko lang sila nang tula, malamang itong poem na "The Road Not Taken" by Robert Frost ang isasagot ko sa kanila. Maintindihan kaya nila yung ibig ko iparating.

"Two roads diverged in a wood, and I, I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference." - Robert Frost

Every kind of journey that you take has the potential to expand your horizons. Whether it is visiting a new place, meeting people, embarking on a new experience, or just looking at a familiar place with new perspectives, opportunities for learning open up, an d it's important to allow one's senses to be receptive enough to take them. Walk down paths less traveled and explore. You may find something wonderful and enriching.
