Love means letting go

(taken from Editor's note by Gay D, TeleseryeMag Lovers in Paris Special)

Love is certainly strange. As one friend has told me, you can't put love in a box; it takes on different forms and expressions. For instance, I hardly kiss or embrace my family and friends but that does not mean I do not love them. Similarly, while we want to be with the ones we love as much as possible, there will be moments when we need to be apart. Separation does not imply the absence of love. In the case of Carlo and Vivian, separation is a proof of their love and trust in one another.

There will be moments when we simply have to allow the ones we love to go away and pursue what they feel they must do. Letting go will be painful; iy will even bring unbearable anxiety. But don't lose hope. Have faith. Hopefully, like Carlo, we'd have that one and only special somebody again... to share a sandwich with and to share the rest of our lives with.

LINE TO REMEMBER
"Sa ngayon, dalawang bagay ang natutunan ko: ang magmahal ng totoo at makipaghiwalay sa minamahal mo. Pero dahil mahina ang ulo ko, mas pinili ko ang magmahal, at kapag nagkita ulit tayo, wala akong gagawin kundi ang mahalin ka. Ikaw lang at wala ng iba..." -CARLO, after Vivian leaves for Paris.
